Dr. Rajvir Bhogal is a distinguished and highly respected dentist by his peers with over 15 years of clinical and surgical expertise in the field of dentistry. With a deep foundation in science and a commitment to excellence, Dr. Bhogal began his journey at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. This academic foundation gave him an advanced understanding of the biological and cellular mechanisms that underpin oral and systemic health. He then went on to graduate from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), the nation’s #1 public dental school, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree, cementing his status as a leader in the dental community.

After dental school, Dr. Bhogal completed an intensive, hospital-based residency at the San Francisco Veteran Medical Center. During this time, he received comprehensive surgical training, focusing on complex dental procedures and the treatment of medically compromised patients. His surgical expertise spans a wide range of procedures, from routine extractions and bone grafting to more advanced surgeries, such as dental implants and complex surgeries. Dr. Bhogal’s extensive training allows him to confidently manage the most challenging cases, including those requiring sedation and anesthesia.

In addition to his surgical prowess, Dr. Bhogal holds a Moderate Sedation Permit in California, which enables him to safely perform dental procedures with sedation for patients who require additional comfort and care. As a sedation provider, he has become a trusted figure for patients with heightened anxiety or medical conditions that necessitate a more careful, controlled approach.

Dr. Bhogal is also an evaluator for the California Dental Board, where he plays a key role in shaping the standards for dental practice in the state. His insight into clinical best practices and his commitment to continuing education ensure that he remains at the forefront of dental advancements.

A certified provider in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Dr. Bhogal’s qualifications further underscore his ability to manage high-risk cases with the utmost safety and professionalism.
